ShortFormErnie I mean, yes and no b/c Chronotope/1035280558031626246?s=19? If a community decides its better off without him in it, isn't that their call?

ShortFormErnie This isn't a call one way or the other, but what if social media everywhere is better off without his participation? Now maybe that isn't true of him, but it is true of others? Isn't this then a feature not a bug?

ShortFormErnie Like maybe the system works but we don't agree with the users?

ShortFormErnie I dunno. I think social media doesn't need him and he doesn't need it so maybe social media systems are at their most optimal when people who can gain great power on them with little work and acquire no responsibility for the system's health at the same time are excluded.

ShortFormErnie Maybe this is a particularly engineery take, but isn't the best solution that if he wants to participate, he should manage his own instance and therefore be forced to shoulder the infrastructure responsibility within the system for his own actions?
