        1. fk you buddy. NoSQL would provide the exact same functionality, just requires participants use it openly, and would transact in a fraction of the time. smartbrief.com/original/2018/08/what-blockchain-technology-can-do-online-advertising

The problem that blockchain purports to solve in online advertising is transparency and THAT ISN'T A TECHNICAL ISSUE the problem doesn't have an engineering solution because the problem is ad-tech and agency policy.

The entire RTB system could be transparent tomorrow if every participant chose to make it so. The problem isn't a lack of technical support, the problem is most participants in the chain would rather not have their transactions visible because they know they're mostly fraud!

Going around talking up blockchain for advertising transactions is dangerous because it perpetuates this bullshit dangerous myth that there's some technical barrier. There are no technical barriers, the only obstacle is the assholes and the lack of regulation to stop them.

Adding blockchain to the ecosystem doesn't fix the fact that the whole shape, form, and structure of the ecosystem incentivizes fraud, it just makes the ecosystem heavier.
