Matt_Kiser It is definitely a useful idea, but subscribers are highly valuable for advertisers and unless a pub's subscription cost is very high or the outlet makes very little but hard to find content or optimally both, like The Information, that is a lot of money to lose...Permalink On twitter.com

Matt_Kiser Subscriber UVs might be a relatively small percentage, but in my experience they tend to have a very high engagement, in time on page, visit depth, and number of pageviews. All valuable for advertisement sales.On twitter.com
