                  1. Been seeing Taboola units in programmatic ad slots. Interesting when you consider that the whole pitch of Taboola products is the type of smart recommendations based on content that would be impossible to generate from inside an ad unit.

                Or it might almost sound like their entire pitch is a bunch of bullshit, their recommendation process doesn't matter and they're sticking units into programmatic inventory to inflate their impression and click through counts in a way irrelevant to what they promise clients...

            It almost sounds like they're extending inventory in non transparent ways, in ways counter to the way their platform is supposed to work. Almost like the platform was bullshit to begin with. Almost.

          I mean, a big certified recommendations company like Taboola wouldn't do those things, right? I mean, I'm sure they wouldn't lie to clients, that option to extend their inventory in ways counter to the product is likely in their contracts somewhere.
