      Without historical context we miss an important degree of criticism. Is Facebook video better than YouTube versions of this product? What differentiates commenting as narrative practice on Instagram from MySpace? How does the different degrees of remove relate to storytelling?

    The realism and realistic integration into platforms bring new questions about separation from reality for viewers that are different from past approaches. Without these sort of questions the practice can't evolve.
