... it uses a tremendous amount of ad buy in ways that are technically legal but grey ethically, complete with creepy ad a/b testing. To top it all off, it constantly is targeted at me and people like me who don't even own cars, the thing it is presumably selling insurance for.Permalink On twitter.com

It isn't the only company to operate this way, just the most obvious one to do so. A single bright star in a galaxy of corporate entities that could not exist if ad tech treated user data ethically. Nothing it does is illegal. But that's the point. Chronotope/791791122922217472On twitter.com
