      Having a hard time seeing how user data transfers could possibly be blocked from international internet travel, but this is fundamentally calling for a EU/US trade war over user data, which is alarming as a concept, even if it comes to nothing.

    In case you were wondering why now? The answer seems to be that EU law makers believe that US companies are not complying with GDPR and want to take measures to force companies to comply or have them cut off from EU-based internet. #GDPRTime
